I'm not overly fond of the chain in town, especially the restaurant on tyndall parkway. This place is the exception. The menus looked delicious and tasted actually like authentic Mexican food and dishes here. I highly recommend the white cheese or queso blanco as a side dish for your savory enjoyment. Also the beer, negro modelo is tastes and cold. Also, I like how they ALWAYS say to you when departing "see you tomorrow" Hasta mañana.

What a nice little hidden gem in plain sight! The service is very quick and very courteous! The food is prepared well and the overall experience was exceptionally pleasant. Its hard to find great food and great service so don't cheat yourself and dine in here!

My wife and I have been going here for the last4 years. The service is some of the best I've had in any restraunt. We are here at least once or twice a month. It looks like a typical strip mall Mexican place but the food is awesome and affordable.

Dude, I did not expect to find such good mexican food in a strip mall location. The servers were pleasant and attentive and the food was delicious. Not only that but the refried beans were homemade and absolutely amazing!

We are on vacation and haven't eaten all day, family member told us about this place and I'm so glad she did. This place is AMAZING. I ordered a chicken and steak with rice and melted cheese on it and it was awesome. Cousin got tacos, rice and beans. Dad got pulled pork with rice and beans. All of ours were under 10.00$$ this place isn't expensive and the staff is very friendly. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would.

My wife have been to Old Mexico three times now in a month. It is a 30 minute drive for us, but it has been well worth it every time. They food is excellent, the service is great, and we have not had been dissapointed! Looking forward to our next trip, and I highly recommend the Taco Salad with chicken, it is very tasty!

Much better than Los Rancheros where the bartender apparently curses randomly at customers. Decent food, decent prices. Definitely better than Pepper's!

We were visiting the Panama City area for the first time. We have been raised on good Mexican food for 50 plus years and thought it might be interesting to try Florida Mexican cuisine. We stopped in for an early lunch (11:30) and noticed the Resturant had only one other customer. This worried us a bit but soon found out we had another thing coming. The Resturant was clean and neat. The chips and salsa was fresh and tasty, not overly spicy. The staff was polite and courteous and took their time explaining our food choices so there would be no misunderstandings. The menu was large and varied. When the food was delivered it was hot and exactly what we wanted. To our surprise it tasted fantastic. The frijoles (retried beans) were unbelievably fresh, tasty and unlike the usual Mexican Resturant fare. The meal was absolutely great. Hopefully we will have the time to eat here again before we leave.
